The event drew 7,000 nurses from around the world<br \/>\n                                    and focused on sustainability and global health policy, highlighting how nurses are<br \/>\n                                    shaping the future of healthcare delivery.<\/p>\n<p>Innella served as lead presenter for a concurrent session on the results of her literature<br \/>\n                                    review, titled &#8220;Health Care for Every Student in Every School: A Literature Review<br \/>\n                                    for Implementing Effective School Health Services.&#8221; Her work explored the critical<br \/>\n                                    role of school-based health services in promoting student well-being and equity. The<br \/>\n                                    review has been submitted for publication in PLOS ONE, a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Public Library of Science (PLOS).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was an honor to present this work in Helsinki,\u201d said Innella, adding that her<br \/>\n                                    literature review was part of a grant commissioned by the World Health Organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>                                    \t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/innellaicn-320.jpg\" alt=\"Innella and others at conference in Helsinki \"\/><\/p>\n<p>Innella (center), whose research was supported by a World Health Organization grant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>An International Gathering for Nursing Leadership<\/strong><br \/>The ICN Congress is one of the largest global events in the nursing profession, offering<br \/>\n                                    a platform for nurses to share research, build international partnerships and influence<br \/>\n                                    health policy. The 2025 gathering marked the 30th ICN Congress and celebrated the<br \/>\n                                    centennial of the Finnish Nurses Association, co-host of the event. Under the theme<br \/>\n                                    \u201cNursing Power to Change the World,\u201d the conference emphasized nurses&#8217; essential contributions<br \/>\n                                    to achieving universal health coverage and addressing healthcare disparities across<br \/>\n                                    diverse settings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy sharing her research on school health services with a global audience, Dr. Innella<br \/>\n                                    is advancing health equity and the nursing profession in a way that reflects our deep<br \/>\n                                    commitment to servant leadership through education, research and compassionate care,\u201d<br \/>\n                                    said<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shu.edu\/profiles\/stinsokr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"> Kristi Stinson<\/a>, Ph.D., R.N., A.P.N.-B.C., interim dean of the College of Nursing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty Expertise in School and Community Health<\/strong><br \/>Innella joined Seton Hall\u2019s faculty in 2018 and brings deep expertise in pediatric,<br \/>\n                                    community and gerontological nursing as well as in nursing research. Her academic<br \/>\n                                    interests include women\u2019s health, childhood obesity in Hispanic populations and end-of-life<br \/>\n                                    education. She holds a Ph.D. in Nursing Science from Rush University and is a certified<br \/>\n                                    nurse educator (CNE).
