While Caitlin Clark<\/a> is grinding points for the national team in San Juan, her Indiana Fever<\/a> frontcourt partner Aliyah Boston<\/a> is back home and still showing up on the hardwood.<\/p>\n

Boston\u2019s season with the Unrivaled league ended early on March 1 after injuring her right leg during Phantom BC\u2019s final regular-season game. This FIBA qualifier was supposed to be her first appearance with the senior national team since the 2024 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgium. Because of the injury, Team USA added Monique Billings and Rae Burrell to the 12-player roster as replacements.<\/p>\n

While her teammates are competing in Puerto Rico, Boston has been seen in Indiana during her injury recovery. On Sunday, the Noblesville Boom, the Pacers’ G League affiliate formerly known as the Indiana Mad Ants, shared a photo of the 24-year-old sitting courtside during their game.<\/p>\n

The caption read<\/a>, “Aliyah Boston is in the house supporting the squad. Welcome to Noblesville, AB,” and the Fever reshared <\/a>the post with three red heart emojis to show support for their star forward.<\/p>\n

Before the injury setback, she was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year for her performance with Phantom BC after setting a league record with 29 blocks and averaging 7.9 defensive rebounds.<\/p>\n

She also posted 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists across 44 games in the 2025 WNBA<\/a> season. Those solid numbers helped her to earn spots on both the All-WNBA Second Team and the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team.<\/p>\n

Right now, her goal is to be ready for the Indiana Fever\u2019s training camp in April. If her recovery stays on track, she still has a chance to play for the U.S. in the FIBA Women’s World Cup this September in Berlin.<\/p>\n
