He is the one who has to apologize and beg for forgiveness, and not the other way around,\u201d Vickers told Page Six.<\/p>\n<p>The last time Harry, 40, saw Charles was when he flew to London after the king announced his cancer diagnosis in February 2024 \u2014\u00a0and was only given a 30-minute meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Sources told us previously that Charles \u2014 who, it was announced Monday, will <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/14\/world-news\/king-charles-schedules-trump-state-visit-for-when-uk-parliament-is-in-recess\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">host President Donald Trump<\/a> for his second state visit in September \u2014 is not cured, but is getting the best possible treatment.<\/p>\n<p>King Charles, seen earlier this month, is still being treated for cancer. GC Images<\/p>\n<p>In May, Harry told the BBC he <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/05\/02\/royal-family\/prince-harry-says-king-charles-iii-wont-speak-to-him-but-hed-love-reconciliation-with-royal-family\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cwould love a reconciliation\u201d<\/a> with the royal family, in an emotional interview in which he said he was \u201cdevastated\u201d at losing a legal challenge over his security in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Harry revealed that Charles \u201cwon\u2019t speak to me because of this security stuff,\u201d but added that he did not want to fight any more and did \u201cnot know how much longer my father has.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Mail on Sunday published photos of <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/05\/royal-family\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-have-to-save-cash\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meredith Maines<\/a>, chief communications officer for Harry and Meghan Markle, meeting with Charles\u2019 communications secretary, Tobyn Andreae, last Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte attended the men\u2019s Wimbledon final Sunday. WireImage<\/p>\n<p>Liam Maguire, who oversees UK press for the Sussexes, was also present for the informal chat at the private club Royal Over-Seas League.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[The staff] may well have just been discussing routine things, which is more than likely, but at some point you have got to reconcile,\u201d Vickers said. \u201cI don\u2019t think we\u2019ll see Harry returning to royal duties, but on a personal level it will be good if he\u2019s able to get on terms with his father.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The trio sat outside in full view of onlookers, which Vickers called \u201codd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sussex sources said both camps were \u201cfrustrated\u201d that photos of the meeting were leaked.<\/p>\n<p>The Waleses got a standing ovation from the crowd. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Maines had flown from Los Angeles to London to meet with the Sussexes\u2019 UK team as well as media, stakeholders and senior figures connected to the Duke\u2019s patronages.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Other royal sources speculated that Harry, Markle and their children \u2014 Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, who have had barely any in-person time with their grandfather \u2014\u00a0may get an invite from Charles to Balmoral, the Scottish estate where he stays every August.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s his house he can do whatever he likes,\u201d said Vickers. \u201cBut there\u2019s quite a lot of ground to be made up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harry and his brother, Prince William \u2014 who appeared with wife Kate Middleton and their two eldest children,<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/13\/royal-family\/prince-george-and-princess-charlotte-make-surprise-appearance-at-wimbledon-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Prince George and Princess Charlotte <\/a>at the Wimbledon\u2019s men\u2019s finals on Sunday \u2014 has not spoken to his younger brother in years.
