A total of seven Oregon State<\/a> baseball players were selected in the 2025 MLB draft.<\/p>\n

The first, second and third rounds commenced Sunday, and just one Beaver heard his name called in those rounds: shortstop Aiva Arquette<\/a>, picked No. 7 overall in the first round by the Miami Marlins.<\/p>\n

Outfielder Gavin Turley<\/a> was selected early in the day Monday, picked No. 110 overall in the fourth round by the Athletics.<\/p>\n

As Monday rolled along, five more Beavers came off the board: left-handed pitcher Nelson Keljo (No. 192, Cleveland Guardians); right-handed pitcher Kellan Oakes (No. 276, Houston Astros); catcher Wilson Weber (No. 348, Miami Marlins); outfielder Dallas Macias (No. 457, Atlanta Braves); and outfielder Canon Reeder (No. 533, Pittsburgh Pirates).<\/p>\n

One player from the Beavers was a surprise undrafted prospect: third baseman Trent Caraway, originally ranked the No. 145 prospect by MLB.com but not selected by any team in the 20-round, 615-pick draft.<\/p>\n

After hitting .267 this season with 12 home runs and 47 RBI, Caraway came up big in the postseason for the Beavers. He hit a program record six home runs in postseason play and was named Most Outstanding Player at the Corvallis regional.<\/p>\n

Caraway entered the transfer portal following the Beavers\u2019 run to the College World Series.<\/p>\n
