Reef hopes that this will help him discover the identity of the blackmailer who is threatening to release an unflattering video of the actor. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn discussing his plan to return to the public eye, Reeves says in the trailer, \u201cI won\u2019t say that I was hiding a heroin addiction from the public and that my best friends and my insane lawyer helped me cover it up for years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLater, Reef\u2019s lawyer, Ira (Hill), tells him, \u201cI need to know everyone who hates you. You need to go and apologize to them, and without them realizing it, feel out if they\u2019re the ones behind the video.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHill helmed the feature from a script he co-wrote with Ezra Woods. Hill produces alongside Matt Dines and Alison Goodwin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDuring the studio\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/jonah-hill-returns-outcome-keanu-reeves-cameron-diaz-1236493350\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">press day last month<\/a>, Hill described Outcome as \u201ca metaphor for what we all go through, living on social media.
