He stocked up on shells at his local Price Chopper last year when he heard the brand\u2019s former owner would no longer stock the shelves. His supply of 20 La Tiara taco shell boxes in his freezer has dwindled to just three. \u201cI was glad I timed it right,\u201d Newton said. Ashley Fetters of Norwalk, Iowa, started with 216 taco shells in April of last year after buying up supplies at her local Fareway stores. She has rationed her supply down to 86.\u201cWe were hoping and praying,\u201d Fetters said.Asked if she considered selling them online, she said no.\u201cI wasn’t going to give away my taco shells.
