reaching the quarter-finals at the All England Club. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following an impressive run at the championships, where she displayed some of the best grass-court tennis of her career, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/pat-cash-says-mirra-andreevas-team-need-to-ask-her-some-serious-questions-after-her-wimbledon-exit\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andreeva ultimately bowed out to Belinda Bencic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian has now made the quarter-finals at two Grand Slam events this year, after her last-eight appearance at Roland Garros earlier in June.<\/p>\n<p>With the conclusion of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Wimbledon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wimbledon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/mirra-andreeva\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andreeva<\/a>\u2018s ranking has improved once again, and she has now made history on the feat after Wimbledon<\/p>\n<p>At just 18 years old, Andreeva has officially made her top-five debut in the world rankings, rising from number seven.<\/p>\n<p>She becomes the youngest woman to break into the top five since former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WTA<\/a> number one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/Maria-Sharapova\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Maria Sharapova<\/a> in 2004.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" emulate. <\/p>\n<p>Other post-Wimbledon shifts in the top 10 include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/iga-swiatek\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Iga Swiatek<\/a>\u2018s bump to third, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/amanda-anisimova\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amanda Anisimova<\/a>\u2018s rise from 12th to seventh.<\/p>\n<p>Mirra Andreeva\u2019s 2025 Wimbledon campaign <\/p>\n<p>Andreeva didn\u2019t drop a set en route to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, sweeping aside Mayar Sherif and Lucia Bronzetti in the opening two rounds.<\/p>\n<p>She then earned back-to-back wins over Americans, beating Hailey Baptiste and 10th seed <a
