The Guardian has since published a correction note on Liew\u2019s article, which reads: \u201cThis article was amended on 17 March 2026. A reference to the arrival of Gail\u2019s feeling like \u201can act of heavy-handed high-street aggression\u201d has been repositioned to clarify it meant to refer to the described fears about the chain\u2019s impact on small traders.<\/p>\n
