Taylor Swift wasn\u2019t seen<\/a> at the high-profile Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but the singer was out Sunday night, stopping at Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z\u2019s famous Gold Party. A filmmaker there, Oscar winner Natalie Musteata, whose project Two People Exchanging Saliva<\/a> scored a historic tie<\/a> for Best Live Action Short, spoke to The New Yorker<\/a> about her experience literally partying with Swift.<\/p>\n
She and Alexandre Singh, who co-wrote and directed the short with her, \u201cwere not invited to any parties really, but we rolled up with the Oscar statuettes, and they got us in everywhere, eventually,\u201d Musteata recalled. \u201cWe went to the Vanity Fair party, which was amazing. We got to talk to the cinematographer Darius Khondji, who is an idol of ours. We went to Jay-Z\u2019s Gold Party, which was surreal. We got to dance with Jay-Z and Emma Stone and Taylor Swift. We took photos, we laughed, we cried, and it was just the best evening. We didn\u2019t want it to end.\u201d<\/p>\n
People<\/a> also confirmed that Swift was at Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s party and that her fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce, joined her. A source told the outlet, \u201cEveryone was in a celebrity mood and people were swarming around Michael B. Jordan. Taylor was dancing with her friends and having a great time.\u201d<\/p>\n
The insider added that Swift and Kelce \u201cmingled with Beyonc\u00e9\u201d as well. People noted how private and exclusive the event is, especially with its no-phone policy. Some celebrities, including Emma Watson<\/a>, were photographed by paparazzi arriving, but no photos of them inside have surfaced.<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t Swift\u2019s first year making low-key appearances at Oscar parties. In 2024, British Vogue<\/a> reported that she and Travis Kelce went to Madonna and Guy Oseary\u2019s \u201cnotoriously private\u201d post-Oscar bash.<\/p>\n
The singer hasn\u2019t shared any photos from her 2026 Oscar night, and it\u2019s been years since any images of her have surfaced from Academy Awards events. She was last photographed at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party way back in 2016.<\/p>\n
