Which women do you expect to reach the round of 32?<\/p>\n<p>WTA Miami Day 3 Predictions<br \/>\nMarie Bouzkova vs Elsa Jacquemot<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: Jacquemot 1-0 Bouzkova<\/p>\n<p>Jacquemot won a lengthy and intense battle 6-7 7-5 7-5 against Darja Vidmanova in the opening round. She will need to be physically recovered against Bouzkova, who bases her game on being solid and extending the rallies. I expect Jacquemot to compete well, but ultimately fall short over three sets against the Czech.<br \/>Prediction: Bouzkova in 3<\/p>\n<p>Alexandra Eala vs Laura Siegemund<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: First meeting<\/p>\n<p>This will be an interesting test of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2026\/03\/18\/alexandra-eala-the-wild-card-who-refused-to-disappear\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">where Eala is at<\/a>. The young star\u2019s athleticism means she often chooses to soak up pressure and counterpunch. Siegemund\u2019s variety and lack of pace on her groundstrokes mean Eala will almost certainly be the aggressor. That does not naturally suit the Filipina. However, Siegemund\u2019s serve will be very vulnerable against Eala\u2019s return, which could prove decisive.<br \/>Prediction: Eala in 3<\/p>\n<p>Iga Swiatek vs Magda Linette<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: Swiatek 1-0 Linette<\/p>\n<p>Entirely ruling out Linette\u2019s chances would feel disrespectful to an experienced and accomplished WTA star. At the same time, this matchup should suit Swiatek. The Pole does not hit with overwhelming pace, and usually needs to battle to win matches. Although Linette\u2019s defense is quite strong, I do not expect it to withstand the four-time French Open champion\u2019s groundstrokes.<br \/>Prediction: Swiatek in 2<\/p>\n<p>Mirra Andreeva vs McCartney Kessler<\/p>\n<p>Head-to-head: Kessler 1-0 Andreeva<\/p>\n<p>Kessler triumphed in her sole previous meeting against Andreeva at last year\u2019s event in Montreal. The teenager\u2019s last three defeats were in very close matches, and it will be fascinating to observe whether that impacts her confidence. Despite that fact, Andreeva has not lost her opening match at any tournament this season.
