{"id":66627,"date":"2025-07-15T04:31:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-15T04:31:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/66627\/"},"modified":"2025-07-15T04:31:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-15T04:31:08","slug":"barcelona-intend-to-renew-the-contract-of-rejuvenated-striker-contract-until-2030","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/66627\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona intend to renew the contract of rejuvenated striker; contract until 2030"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barcelona may have been busy in recent weeks trying to find a new attacker in their bid to add more depth to the offensive unit.<\/p>\n<p>But the club haven\u2019t lost sight of fresh renewals that they need to complete in order to secure the future of existing stars.<\/p>\n<p>Frenkie de Jong has been one such player whose renewal talks have grabbed a lot of attention, with the Dutchman likely to pen a new long-term deal.<\/p>\n<p>But Barcelona are also working on the renewal of another top-quality player in the form of Ferran Torres.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona want to extend Ferran\u2019s contract<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mundodeportivo.com\/futbol\/fc-barcelona\/20250714\/1002500065\/barca-ve-clave-ferran-torres-aplaza-renovacion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mundo Deportivo<\/a>, Barcelona are determined to renew the contract of Torres, whose current deal at Camp Nou expires in 2027.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, Ferran has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou, with Aston Villa reportedly among the clubs <a href=\"https:\/\/barcauniversal.com\/aston-villa-seriously-interested-in-e40-million-rated-barcelona-forward-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">interested in his services<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fc-barcelona-v-rc-celta-de-vigo-la-liga-ea-sports-2-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Ferran Torres scoring for Barcelona\" class=\"wp-image-169309\"  \/>Ferran Torres is not going anywhere (Photo by Alex Caparros\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>However, Bar\u00e7a appear to have no desire to offload the Spanish international anytime soon and in order to seal his future at the club, they want to hand him a new contract.<\/p>\n<p>The process, however, has been delayed due to various reasons, including Barcelona\u2019s ongoing economic trouble, coupled with other priorities in the market.<\/p>\n<p>But one thing is for sure, Barcelona will hand Ferran a new deal sooner rather than later, with the new contract likely to extend his stay at the club until 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona see Ferran as a key piece of the puzzle going forward.
