It\u2019s a fact that Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> are talking again. That\u2019s a good thing. The Bengals and their All-Pro need to reach an extension so he can be on the field in Week 1.<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report\u2019s Gary Davenport is predicting a three-year, $130.5 million deal for Hendrickson,<\/a> saying, \u201cIf the Bengals have legitimate aspirations of a deep playoff run, they need to figure out a way to get a deal done with Hendrickson. But with each passing week, that appears less likely.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bengals’ stud edge rusher has been spotted in Cincinnati recently, which is a positive sign as Training Camp starts next Wednesday. <\/p>\n

Cincinnati is clearly better with Hendrickson on the field than otherwise. He has 35 sacks over the last two seasons for a reason. His motor and aggressive playing style are something the Bengals defense needs as they look to rebound from a disappointing 2024.<\/p>\n

If the Bengals are going to win the Super Bowl<\/a> this season, Hendrickson needs to be on the field.
