Jim Belushi<\/strong> has a big heart.<\/p>\n

The 71-year-old funnyman, who headlined his own sitcom<\/a>According to Jim in the early 2000s, recently offered comfort and a warm embrace to a total stranger in need.<\/p>\n

In a video shared to social media, the K-9 star\u2014who currently runs his own cannabis farm\u2014can be seen sharing an extended hug with a fan at an event for his company, Belushi\u2019s Farm. An emotional Belushi is then seen in conversation with the teary-eyed fan, clearly comforted by his gracious gesture. The video is captioned, \u201cWhen my wife tells Jim Belushi her brother died from an overdose too\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

One fan called Belushi \u201ca class act,\u201d while another added, \u201cThis is the most beautiful thing I\u2019ve seen on the internet in a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jim Belushi is the younger brother of SNL alum and Animal House legend John Belushi,<\/strong> who died from a drug overdose in 1982 at the age of 33. Jim has spoken publicly about having a drinking problem in his early 20s and has been sober for more than 15 years. In 2019, he pivoted away from Hollywood to focus on his cannabis farm in Oregon.<\/p>\n
