{"id":669843,"date":"2026-03-20T19:47:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T19:47:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/669843\/"},"modified":"2026-03-20T19:47:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T19:47:15","slug":"iu-athletics-announces-cfp-national-championship-trophy-tour-inside-the-hall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/669843\/","title":{"rendered":"IU Athletics announces CFP National Championship trophy tour &#8211; Inside the Hall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"featured\">\n<p>                    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IUFBNatty00041-856x571.jpg\" alt=\"Photos from IU football's 27-21 win against Miami (FL) in the CFP national championship game.\"\/>\n                <\/p>\n<p>IU fans across the state will have a chance to see the football program\u2019s CFP National Championship trophy as it tours the state this spring.<\/p>\n<p>The athletic department announced a tour for the trophy, which will begin on Tuesday, March 24. <\/p>\n<p>The full release is available below:<\/p>\n<p>BLOOMINGTON, Ind. \u2014 Following IU Football\u2019s historic 16-0 College Football Playoff National Championship season, Indiana University Athletics is proud to announce it is going on the road and bringing the football program\u2019s championship trophies to Hoosier fans across the state beginning next week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom Indianapolis to Pasadena to Atlanta to Miami, Hoosier fans fueled our championship run by turning out in enormous numbers at each of our postseason games,\u201d said IU Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Dolson. \u201cThey transformed neutral site games into virtual home games, and had a big impact on making these championships possible. We\u2019re excited to give Hoosier fans from every corner of the state a chance to see the trophies in person this spring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starting March 24, the tour will crisscross the state of Indiana, making stops at IU campuses and regional hubs from the shores of Lake Michigan to the Ohio River. The initiative is free to attend, and aims to share the program\u2019s success with the entire Hoosier community, recognizing that this victory belongs to the fans across the state.<\/p>\n<p>The tour is designed to be an interactive experience as well. At every stop, fans will have the opportunity to get up close with some of the coveted trophies in college football, including the CFP National Championship, the Big Ten Championship, the Rose Bowl, and the Peach Bowl trophies.<\/p>\n<p>IU Athletics encourages fans of all ages to attend, where they can take photos and selfies with the trophies.
