A childcare provider has told parents alleged abuser Joshua Dale Brown worked at an additional centre in Melbourne’s south-west.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, police revealed they had identified an extra four centres where Mr Brown had worked in recent years<\/a>, weeks after laying 70 charges against him relating to eight alleged victims.<\/p>\n On the same day, childcare provider G8 Education informed parents that Mr Brown had also worked at the World of Learning in Point Cook.<\/p>\n In a statement, the company said he only worked there for one day: August 24, 2023.<\/p>\n Victoria Police today confirmed the date and location, and said agencies were in the process of contacting families whose children were at the centre at the time.<\/p>\n Sexual assault\u00a0support lines:<\/p>\n Earlier, G8 Education CEO Pejman Okhovat wrote to parents that: “In the interest of transparency, it was important we inform you of this information as soon as we could and apologise that we were unable to provide it earlier”.<\/p>\n “In light of this new information about Mr Brown’s presence at World of Learning Point Cook, the Victorian government and Victoria Police may contact you with further information or recommendations and we want to prepare you for that.<\/p>\n “We don’t have any information from any government authorities to indicate when or how this might occur.”<\/p>\n On Wednesday afternoon, Victoria Police also corrected a date regarding the Kids Academy in Melton. It said Mr Brown worked there on September 12 last year, rather than September 2 as previously stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n He also worked there on September 16 last year, as previously listed.<\/p>\n\n
