Mr. Whitmer was alleged to have made unprofessional and\/or offensive comments to several city employees, disregarded direction from the city manager regarding directly contacting city employees and was alleged to have an unauthorized participation in a non-profit organization that was in direct conflict with his duties as a city of Scottsdale employee for which he did not submit a request for outside employment,\u201d the report says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"After a two-month investigation, Mayor Lisa Borowsky\u2019s chief of staff Lamar Whitmer was fired March 20.
