DFW locals love Fort Worth\u2019s Lucile\u2019s<\/a> for its chicken fried steak, lobster bisque and crab benedict during weekend brunch.<\/p>\n

And now, there will be a second location in the Metroplex.<\/p>\n

Lucile\u2019s Stateside Bistro is undoubtedly a Fort Worth classic. Its green and white building at 4700 Camp Bowie Blvd.<\/a> has always been a home to restaurants, as some may remember it as Steve\u2019s Cafe, Finley\u2019s Cafeteria or The Black Eyed Pea<\/a> before becoming what we love now.<\/p>\n

The restaurant\u2019s been open on the red brick road since 1993.<\/p>\n

And now, its popularity has paid off. Lucile\u2019s second location will open in Colleyville, according to Lucile\u2019s owner Terry Kearney.<\/p>\n

Kearney had been looking for an additional space, far enough from the Fort Worth establishment but still the same community-feel that Camp Bowie neighborhood brings to Lucile\u2019s.<\/p>\n

So when he found the new 5204 Colleyville Blvd. dining room, it just worked out.<\/p>\n

When will the new Lucile\u2019s open in Colleyville?<\/p>\n

Kearney plans to open around August, he told the Star-Telegram.<\/p>\n

He is just beginning construction on the site and design plans are still underway.<\/p>\n

There was some confusion on how the City of Colleyville is involved, because they broke the news of Lucile\u2019s second location<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not a matter of Colleyville being involved in Lucile\u2019s lease. Kearney applied to be a part of the City of Colleyville\u2019s business incentive program<\/a> (Business Enhancements to Support Transformation, or BEST). This program allows local businesses to apply for grants to improve the appearance of their bussinesses.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not guarenteed that Lucile\u2019s will be awarded the incentive from the city. And if it does happen, Lucile\u2019s would get the funds after the restaurant has already opened.<\/p>\n

The seafood restaurant serves lunch and dinner<\/a> daily with brunch<\/a> on the weekends.<\/p>\n

Locals love to sip on their signature martinis or bloody marys. The stuffed mushrooms, fried green tomatoes and lobster bisque are staple starters. Chicken fried steak (voted best in Fort Worth), crab cakes and lobster roll are the go-to entr\u00e9es. For weekend brunch, people rave about the eggs benedict with crab.<\/p>\n

Kearney confirmed to the Star-Telegram that Lucile\u2019s in Colleyville will have the same menu, but the daily specials will be different at each location.<\/p>\n

He also said they are working on an updated breakfast menu.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
