The subpoenas require them to testify in the case on April 17 before Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Sabrina Kraus, according to confidential legal papers examined by the newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>The four far-left pols have a long history of raging without consequence against white people and painting their enemies \u2014 including President Trump, Republicans, and NYPD cops \u2014 as \u201cwhite supremacists\u201d and \u201cracists,\u201d said Paladino\u2019s lawyer Jim Walden.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Oss\u00e9 called Trump a \u201cpedophile\u201d multiple times last month because the president is mentioned in\u00a0the Epstein files.<\/p>\n<p>Four socialist NYC lawmakers will be forced to explain under oath why Republican Councilwoman Vickie Paladino (pictured) faces potential censure over alleged Islamophobic remarks \u2014 while they routinely make racist and libelous statements about conservatives, The Post has learned. Paul Martinka<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Oss\u00e9 made a bigoted remark about a Big Apple contractor convicted of insurance fraud, claiming during a Council hearing that the city should have never hired the landscaping company because its owner\u2019s Italian last name is a \u201cred flag.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/14\/us-news\/white-house-rips-nyc-councilman-for-calling-trump-pedophile\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">White House recently called out Oss\u00e9 <\/a>for spewing \u201cegregious lies,\u201d but the Brooklyn pol was never reprimanded by the Council. Former Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli (R-Staten Island) <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/05\/26\/nyc-council-files-ethics-complaint-against-chi-osse-for-slur\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">filed an ethics complaint against Oss\u00e9<\/a> over the anti-Italian slight, but it also fell on deaf ears.<\/p>\n<p>Councilman Chi Oss\u00e9, a Brooklyn Democratic socialist, called President Donald Trump a \u201cpedophile\u201d multiple times last month without proof because the president is mentioned in\u00a0the Epstein files. J.C. Rice<\/p>\n<p id=\"block-c1f964b7-7ac4-41c2-a047-c177dc36e50e\">The four radical lawmakers, along with four other council Dems \u2014Manhattan\u2019s Speaker Julie Menin, Brooklyn\u2019s Alexa Aviles and Shekar Krishnan, and Queens\u2019 Nantasha Williams\u2014were separately subpoenaed to turn over all communications they\u2019ve made with other parties since Nov. 15 concerning Paladino and her social media posts.<\/p>\n<p id=\"block-1659cadb-6039-4bdb-a6bf-f5718d43a725\">Councilwoman Sandra Ung \u2014 a Queens Democrat who chairs the Council\u2019s Committee on Rules, Privileges, Elections, Standards and Ethics \u2013 was subpoenaed to hand over transcripts, identities of complaining witnesses and other records related to a March 2 meeting she oversaw, where the panel announced it was pursuing \u201cdisorderly behavior\u201d charges against Paladino.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyers representing Paladino in her free-speech lawsuit served Queens Democratic socialist Tiffany Cab\u00e1n and three other councilmembers requiring them to testify April 17 in Manhattan Supreme Court. Sipa USA via Reuters Connect<\/p>\n<p id=\"block-6a36d844-8148-4e1b-b0a3-9cfb7bf76a03\">Failure to comply with subpoenas can result in contempt-of-court charges, which may include fines and jail time.<\/p>\n<p id=\"block-95f9e276-38d5-4f5d-93ac-c334fd0bedb9\">Council spokesman Yoav Gonen insisted \u201cthe subpoenas are improper\u201d and that the city\u2019s Law Department \u201cis moving to quash them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ethics panel\u2019s action against Paladino came following a recent series of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/VickieforNYC\/status\/2023815253772169585\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">posts she made on X<\/a>\u00a0calling for the expulsion of Muslims from western nations in the wake of December\u2019s antisemitic <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/12\/14\/world-news\/australia-shooting-at-famed-sydney-bondi-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Bondi Beach terrorist attack in Australia.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brooklyn Councilwoman Shahana Hanif was also subpoenaed. ZUMAPRESS.com<\/p>\n<p>In another post, she seemed to question the citizenship of one of Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s appointments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew York is under foreign occupation,\u201d Paladino wrote in February, following\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/17\/us-news\/zohran-mamdanis-new-chief-immigration-officer-worked-for-controversial-muslim-nonprofit\/?utm_campaign=nypost&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mamdani\u2019s appointment of Faiza Ali<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 a born-and-raised Brooklynite and child of Pakistani immigrants \u2014 to be his chief immigration officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s really no other way to put it,\u201d she said. \u201cDoes this administration have one single actual American in it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Former Councilman Robert Holden, a conservative Queens Democrat, submitted a signed affidavit to the court Tuesday, saying he believes penalizing Paladino over her remarks would be \u201cunprecedented and hypocritical,\u201d adding it is motivated by \u201cbad faith and political retaliation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His eight-page brief cites a series of examples where other council members made remarks on social media that were \u201coffensive, derogatory or racist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They included Cab\u00e1n in April 2022 claiming a ninth-grade girl from Staten Island \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tiffany_caban\/status\/1516818969281593344\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">is sick of being patrolled and supervised by white police officers,\u201d<\/a> Hanif in June 2022 accusing cops of <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CMShahanaHanif\/status\/1524099661690200068\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u201cracist harassment\u201d of street vendors,<\/a> and Nurse <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SandyforCouncil\/status\/1626217722639171584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">bluntly quipping in February 2023 <\/a>that \u201cone thing you can always count on is white ladies, white ladying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cab\u00e1n\u2019s remarks were even more pointed on social media before she joined the Council in December 2021, including 10 months earlier when she accused GOP pols in DC of <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/tiffany_caban\/status\/1349177186402660353\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\u201cupholding white supremacy &amp;
