The San Antonio Zoo ranked as the nation\u2019s seventh-best zoological park in the USA Today 10Best Readers\u2019 Choice Awards<\/a>, the results of which were released Thursday.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the fourth time in the past three years that San Antonio Zoo has made a national Top 10 list, and the ranking comes as the zoo continues to tout nationally acclaimed projects, including its recently opened gorilla exhibit, Congo Falls, and overnight stay options at Spekboom Lodge.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are incredibly proud to be ranked among the best zoos in the country by USA Today readers,\u201d San Antonio Zoo CEO Tim Morrow said in a statement. \u201cThese honours reflect the passion and dedication of our Zoo Crew and the incredible support from our community. Together, we are continuing to elevate San Antonio Zoo as a destination for conservation, education, and unforgettable wildlife experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to the Best Zoo accolade, Flamingo Mingle was ranked the No. 7 Best Zoo Exhibit in USA Today\u2019s rankings, while the SA Zoo\u2019s membership came in as the nation\u2019s No. 8 best in that category.<\/p>\n
