The beloved vegetarian restaurant in Oak Lawn has reopened, according to media reports.<\/p>\n
After more than 25 years in business, the quaint cafe at 2912 Oak Lawn Ave. closed in 2021. Dallas Morning News food reporter Sarah Blaskovich called it among the most heartbreaking restaurant closures of the year<\/a>.<\/p>\n Deepak Chalise, who was the cafe\u2019s main chef for more than two decades, told the Dallas Observer<\/a> he\u2019d been working on buying it from the original owner.
