PHOENIX \u2014 Phoenix Children\u2019s Hospital is teaming up with one of the state\u2019s largest health care providers to expand neonatal care across the Valley.<\/p>\n

The children\u2019s hospital is collaborating with three HonorHealth hospitals to provide a higher level of care for newborns, according to a Monday Phoenix Children\u2019s Hospital<\/a> announcement.<\/p>\n

Physicians from PCH\u2019s division of neonatology will provide care at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea, HonorHealth Mountain Vista and HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing hospitals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collaboration with the stellar labor and delivery and neonatology teams at HonorHealth allows us to bring the expert pediatric care families rely on from Phoenix Children\u2019s to more patient families than ever before,\u201d PCH\u2019s division chief of neonatology Dr. Gregg Martin said in a statement.<\/p>\n

How will Phoenix Children\u2019s Hospital expand neonatal care?<\/p>\n

Families and newborns will have access to PCH resources, pediatric support and consultations with more than 75 pediatric subspecialties.<\/p>\n

Mothers with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries can receive care through Phoenix Children\u2019s Center for Fetal and Neonatal Care.<\/p>\n

The HonorHealth collaboration brings the number of Valley hospitals staffed with PCH doctors to seven locations.<\/p>\n

Last year PCH, was ranked the third best children\u2019s hospital<\/a> in the southwest.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur alliance underscores a shared commitment to providing the highest level of neonatal care and exceptional service to our tiniest patients and their families while they\u2019re with us at HonorHealth and into the future,\u201d HonorHealth neonatal and pediatrics senior clinical director Mary Luster said.<\/p>\n
