North San Antonio<\/strong><\/p>\n Texas Barber Battle & Expo<\/strong><\/p>\n Known as the largest barber expo in all of Texas, the event will showcase the latest trends, products, techniques in the barber industry with hands-on demonstrations and the chance to connect with top barber professionals in the industry.<\/p>\n Back to School Bash<\/strong><\/p>\n A back to school celebration and supply drive will be held at the San Antonio Food Bank this Saturday. Festivities include school supply giveaway, games, music, cooking demonstrations and face painting.<\/p>\n Boerne – Fair Oaks Ranch<\/strong><\/p>\n Boerne Movies in the Park<\/strong><\/p>\n Enjoy the end of summer with Boerne Movies in the Park. The final two events, held at Boerne City Pool will feature showings of \u201cMoana 2\u201d and \u201cWild Robot\u201d on July 18 and Aug. 8, respectively.<\/p>\n Mountain King<\/strong><\/p>\n Boerne Community Theatre will show \u201cMountain King\u201d written by Lemuel Mitchell. The story follows an odd couple, alone on a long trail through the wilderness, as they travel to rendezvous with Buck Brewster, the Mountain King. This is one of seven performances in the annual event series for the community theatre.<\/p>\n Northeast San Antonio Metrocom<\/strong><\/p>\n Water Games<\/strong><\/p>\n Cool off from the heat at Rhine Valley Park with a series of free water games and activities for the whole family while celebrating Parks and Recreation month with the city of Schertz.<\/p>\n New Braunfels<\/strong><\/p>\n Stars and Stripes Half Marathon and 5K\/10K<\/strong><\/p>\n Run on a fast and flat course in New Braunfels to finish at the Stars and Stripes Dine-In. Choose from your choice of a half marathon, 10K, or 5K, and Kids K in this competitive summer race. Online registration required.<\/p>\n Masskrugstemmen<\/strong><\/p>\n A German-influenced physical strength challenge, come and watch the match where participants must hold a pint of beer out in front of them for as long as possible. The finals will be held in August.<\/p>\n\n
