\n\tPresident Donald Trump<\/a> has a big fan in his granddaughter Kai Trump. The 18-year-old high school senior recently gushed about her grandfather in a new interview, where she revealed his most influential advice that he\u2019s given her.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a recent appearance on Fox & Friends<\/a>, Kai \u2014 who is the daughter of Donald Trump, Jr. and ex Vanessa Trump \u2014 shared that Donald is a \u201cbig influence\u201d on her life in one key area: the golf course.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe taught me to just keep on working at it, and, honestly, I\u2019ve gotten a lot better in past years with golf, but, he really just [taught me to keep] trying to keep on fighting and keep on practicing and whatnot,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnd I love playing golf\u2026 it\u2019s something that we share, a special bond together,\u201d Kai added.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to DidTrumpGolfToday.com<\/a>, the 45th and 47th president has so far golfed 40 days out of 178 days since returning to office, which represents 22.5 percent of the presidency spent golfing. The estimated cost to taxpayers for golf since returning to office is $56,000,000. So, clearly, golf is a priority for the entrepreneur and former reality star.<\/p>\n

\n\tKai clearly looks up to Donald. After all, her mom is dating Tiger Woods, so crediting Donald Trump with golfing advice is really saying something! And the feeling is mutual. In April, Donald said, per New York Post<\/a>, \u201cI just wanna say that I play a lot of golf with Kai and she\u2019s a fantastic golfer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe\u2019s a scratch player, which is amazing. I think some day in the not-too-distant future she\u2019s gonna be much better than scratch,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut she\u2019s doing really well and she wins a lot of matches. And some day she\u2019ll be able to beat her grandfather, but I\u2019m not sure when that\u2019ll be\u2026 it might be a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKai has signed with the University of Miami to play golf after she graduates from high school. She announced it on Instagram<\/a>, writing in part, \u201cI am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami. I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey. I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point. I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.\u201d<\/p>\n
