EP is Lauren Swickard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThree years ago, it was announced that Amazon Freevee would stream the bilingual series Casa Grande, which examined everyday realities and conflicts between California\u2019s migrant workforce and the landowners who reap the profits. That series was created by Swickard (A California Christmas) and Afshar, and followed the intertwining lives of various families in the farmlands of Northern California.
