{"id":68076,"date":"2025-07-16T20:42:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T20:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/68076\/"},"modified":"2025-07-16T20:42:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T20:42:10","slug":"amanda-anisimova-responds-when-asked-if-she-feels-ready-for-a-deep-run-at-the-us-open-after-wimbledon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/68076\/","title":{"rendered":"Amanda Anisimova responds when asked if she feels ready for a deep run at the US Open after Wimbledon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Amanda Anisimova will be hoping to move past her emphatic defeat in the Wimbledon final.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/amanda-anisimova-posts-first-message-on-social-media-since-her-heavy-wimbledon-final-defeat-to-iga-swiatek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anisimova was beaten by Iga Swiatek<\/a> without winning a single game, as she cast an emotional figure in the immediate aftermath of the match.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the disappointing end to her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wimbledon<\/a> Championships, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/emma-raducanus-coach-sends-message-to-amanda-anisimova-after-she-suffers-defeat-in-wimbledon-final\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anisimova received a lot of support<\/a> from both active and former players.<\/p>\n<p>The American has also been rewarded for reaching her first major final, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/iga-swiatek-and-amanda-anisimova-discover-fate-as-new-wta-rankings-are-released-after-wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anisimova now at a career-high ranking<\/a> ahead of the North American hard court swing. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Iga Swiatek of Poland poses for a photo with the Ladies\u2019 Singles Trophy alongside Amanda Anisimova of United States with the Ladies\u2019 Singles Runner-Up Trophy, after the Ladies' Singles Final on day thirteen of The Championships Wimbledon 2025 at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2224799675-2-1024x683.jpg\" \/>Photo by Julian Finney\/Getty ImagesAmanda Anisimova says if she feels ready to make a deep run at the US Open<\/p>\n<p>Wimbledon has continued a breakout season for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/amanda-anisimova-equals-serena-williams-record-as-she-wins-the-qatar-open-trophy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anisimova, who also won the Qatar Open<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>When speaking to Good Morning America in one of her first interviews since Wimbledon, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/amanda-anisimova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anisimova<\/a> called the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/us-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">US Open<\/a> her favourite tournament and suggested that she was hoping to make a deep run once again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s so surreal to be ranked seventh right now, it\u2019s my career and what a quick turnaround for me after my comeback,\u201d said Anisimova. \u201cThe US Open is my favourite tournament by far.
