This family friendly, community health expo is completely free for families. This year\u2019s event offers free health screenings, free games and prizes, and more!<\/p>\n<p>Family Fit Fest, formally the Get Kidz Fit Fest, is a community health and wellness expo aimed at getting every member of your family, from the youngest member to the oldest grandparent, fit in every aspect of life. This year, over 3,000 attendees are expected and over 100 organizations. Thanks to participating organizations, families can expect hundreds of resources and services, ranging from informational resources to exciting entertainment, that will ensure everyone is nutritionally, physically, mentally, financially, civically, and spiritually fit. Activities and resources that put an emphasis on those six crucial categories include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nutritionally Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Physically Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Live fitness classes<\/li>\n<li>Kids Zone: climbing wall, bounce houses, mazes, activity zones<\/li>\n<li>Wellness workshops: chronic conditions, diabetes<\/li>\n<li>Health Screenings: free dental checks, free eye exams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mentally Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops for everybody, including caregivers and youth<\/li>\n<li>Stress, depression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financially Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Job recruitment<\/li>\n<li>Financial literacy (budgeting, retirement, home buying, building credit)<\/li>\n<li>Entrepreneurship (for youths too!)<\/li>\n<li>Avoiding scams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Civically Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Voter registration<\/li>\n<li>Local civic leaders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Spiritually Fit<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meditation &amp; prayer<\/li>\n<li>Local religious &amp; spiritual leader<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Families have access to all the above activities, plus entertainment that includes live music, games, prizes, a photo booth, and more!
