Emma Raducanu impressed tennis fans at Wimbledon in 2025, despite exiting at the third round stage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Raducanu<\/a>, who has slipped to British number three behind Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal, put forward a resilient effort against world number one Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> but ultimately lost 6-7 4-6.<\/p>\n

Since her spectacular US Open<\/a> victory in 2021, the Brit has experienced something of a coaching roundabout, including Torben Beltz and Dimitri Tursunov.<\/p>\n

Raducanu is now working with Mark Petchey and has averaged a 15-8 record whilst working with the former professional player.<\/p>\n

Upon the conclusion of Wimbledon, former British number one Anne Keothavong has assessed whether Raducanu should keep Petchey on, or look elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Anne Keothavong says Mark Petchey has had a \u2018positive impact\u2019 but it\u2019s \u2018not straightforward\u2019<\/p>\n

Anne Keothavong, who reached a career high of 48 on the WTA Tour during her playing career, has spoken about Emma Raducanu\u2019s coaching dilemma. Mark Petchey recently provided an update<\/a> regarding his ongoing partnership with Raducanu.<\/p>\n

Keothavong, who is the British Fed Cup captain, said: \u201cIt obviously is important and we\u2019ve seen the positive impact Petch has had on her over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cEqually, it\u2019s not that straightforward. <\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, she\u2019s clearer than ever of what is required in terms of what kind of team she wants around her and she finds that. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf they can find a way to make it work, then that would be brilliant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raducanu installed Petchey into her coaching team during the Miami Open in March on a \u2018casual basis\u2019 and has worked with the former US Open champion during the French Open and Wimbledon majors.<\/p>\n

Emma Raducanu enters the Washington Open<\/p>\n

Despite uncertainty over her coaching situation, Emma Raducanu has planned her next tournament after Wimbledon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has entered<\/a> the Washington Open, joining the likes of Jessica Pegula and Qinwen Zheng, who both suffered disappointing Wimbledon campaigns.<\/p>\n

A plethora of American talents are returning home to compete, with Taylor Fritz<\/a>, Frances Tiafoe and Ben Shelton all set to compete at the ATP 500 event.<\/p>\n
