One lottery in Hunts Point will place applicants on a waiting list for current and future vacancies, while the others offer units in newly constructed apartments with modern amenities.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what to know before the deadlines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BRONX<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>HUNTS POINT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"666\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Hunts-Point-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28520\"  \/>Credit: NYC Housing Connect<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/housingconnect.nyc.gov\/PublicWeb\/details\/7482\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>Peninsula Building 1B Waiting List<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications close:<\/strong> Apr. 3<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible income:<\/strong> $37,041 \u2013 $140,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Address:<\/strong> 720 Tiffany St.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rent range:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>$984 \u2013 $1,345 for a studio<\/p>\n<p>$1,177 \u2013 $1,638 for a one-bedroom<\/p>\n<p>$1,405 \u2013 $2,006 for a two-bedroom<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/housingconnect.nyc.gov\/PublicWeb\/details\/7482\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">This waiting list<\/a> will lease a total of seven current and future vacancies at Peninsula 1B, which is near the 2, 5, 6 and C trains and multiple bus routes (Bx46, Bx19, Bx11, Bx27, Bx35, Bx6 and BX6-SBS).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The building was developed through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/site\/hpd\/services-and-information\/extremely-low-and-low-income-affordability-program-ella.page\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Extremely Low and Low-Income Affordability (ELLA) program<\/a>, which funds low-income multi-family rental projects where 80% of units are affordable for households earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), at least 15% for formerly homeless New Yorkers, and up to 20% for moderate-income households.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The building is near the Hunts Point Recreation Center and Produce Market, as well as Soundview and St. Mary\u2019s Parks in either direction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Amenities include a community room with a kitchenette, an outdoor terrace, bike storage room, children\u2019s playroom, laundry room and fitness room. The building is accessible by the 2 and 5 trains at West Farms Square and bus connections to Fordham Road and the Metro-North.<\/p>\n<p>Amenities include free WIFI in common spaces, a community room and a card-operated laundry room. The building is smoke-free and has security cameras, bike storage lockers and an on-site resident manager.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Apartments include a refrigerator and electric stove. No pets are allowed, except for service animals. Apartments also have high-end countertops, finishes and modern appliances.
