{"id":682811,"date":"2026-03-26T09:20:11","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/682811\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T09:20:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:20:11","slug":"charles-schwab-releases-statement-after-technical-issues-reported-nbc-chicago","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/682811\/","title":{"rendered":"Charles Schwab releases statement after technical issues reported \u2013 NBC Chicago"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charles Swab released a statement after people in Chicago and across the country reported issues with the firm&#8217;s digital platforms, including that their accounts showed a zero balance.<\/p>\n<p>Around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, an NBC Chicago viewer said all of her accounts had been showing they were at a balance of zero for hours. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is most distressing,&#8221; the viewer said in an email.<\/p>\n<p>They were far from the only person experiencing problems with Charles Swab. <\/p>\n<p>Reports of issues began surfacing around 11 a.m. and by roughly 3 p.m., more than 1,300 Charles Schwab users around the country had reported issues, <a href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/charles-schwab\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to Downdetector.<\/a> A heatmap of reports shows users had issues in Chicago and several other major cities, including New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and Pheonix. <\/p>\n<p>By 3:50 p.m., a spokesperson for Charles Schwab told NBC Chicago the issue was resolved. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A technical issue intermittently impacted some trading-related features for clients. Our technology teams have resolved the issue and clients should soon have this issue resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
