By the end of the day, \u201cARIRANG\u201d had already sold over 3.9 million copies, smashing BTS\u2019s previous first-week sales record of 3,378,633 (set by their 2020 album \u201c<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.soompi.com\/article\/1385437wpp\/watch-bts-unveils-cinematic-mv-for-chart-topping-hit-on\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Map of the Soul: 7<\/a>\u201d) within just one day.<\/p>\n<p>Hanteo Chart has now reported that \u201cARIRANG\u201d went on to sell an impressive total of 4,169,464 copies in the first week of its release (March 20 to 26), marking a new career high for BTS.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, as of March 27 KST, \u201cARIRANG\u201d has reached No. 1 on Apple Music Top Albums charts in at least 115 different regions.
