THE FAMILY ALSO SHARED THAT IN HIS PASSING, HE WILL BE GIVING THE SELFLESS GIFT OF ORGAN DONATION AS THE ROADSIDE MEMORIAL TO TEN YEAR OLD JACK GROWS HERE. A STATE LAWMAKER TELLS ME THAT SHE TOO IS CONCERNED ABOUT TRAFFIC HERE ON HIGHWAY 67 AND IS PROPOSING A BIG CHANGE TO HELP. STATE REPRESENTATIVE BARB DITTRICH TOLD ME BY PHONE SHE\u2019S DEMANDING A MEETING WITH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO MAKE HIGHWAY 67 SAFER HERE, POSSIBLY WITH A ROUNDABOUT. A DOT DATABASE SHOWS THE INTERSECTION ALONE HAS SEEN AT LEAST SEVEN CRASHES SINCE 2021. ONE OF THEM WITH INJURIES. AND NOW THIS FATALITY. &gt;&gt; THIS IS THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL\u2019S BACK. His family said that &#8220;Jack was a smart, well-liked, and athletic child who loved his teachers, friends, and school.&#8221; The district said the 16-year-old driver and a front seat passenger who were injured were Jack&#8217;s siblings, Levi and Reaghan Oudenhoven, who attend Oconomowoc High School. The crash happened about 7 a.m. on Highway 67 at McMahon Road in Lac La Belle. An SUV, driven by a 34-year-old, slammed into the back of the white SUV while the 16-year-old was waiting to turn left onto McMahon Road.   &#8220;This is a heartbreaking situation, and I can\u2019t express how deeply sorry I am for the Oudenhoven family&#8217;s loss.
