Heavy rain moved through the area overnight, leading to flooding and road closures across the Pittsburgh area.<\/p>\n
>>> <\/b>Flood warnings continue until late morning for much of the area<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n Allegheny County<\/p>\n White Oak Volunteer Fire Department said Route 48 is closed at Cool Springs Road due to flooding. In addition, they said to also avoid using Rippel Road if possible. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n Washington County<\/p>\n In South Strabane, Locust Avenue is closed from Hudak Hill to the I-79 interchange due to a landslide that is compromising the roadway. The South Strabane Fire Department says to seek alternate routes.<\/p>\n Canton Township posted on Facebook, saying that multiple roads in the township are closed due to flooding. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n The township fire department said the following roads are impacted:<\/p>\n \u201cPlease do not drive through flooded roadways! Turn around and find a safer route!,\u201d the township said. <\/p>\n Several schools in the area have also made changes throughout the day due to flooding and power outages.
