PHOENIX \u2014 Heads up, Valley Metro riders and drivers, this could affect your commute.<\/p>\n
Due to paving and utility work along the B line in south Phoenix, the intersection of Southern and Central avenues will be closed to traffic on the following dates:<\/p>\n
The eastbound detours are at 7th Avenue, and the westbound detours are at 7th Street, Valley Metro said.<\/p>\n
Officials said right turns will carry on from Central Avenue to Southern Avenue, while left turns will be restricted.<\/p>\n
Local traffic access will be maintained. Three crosswalks will be maintained at all times, Valley Metro said.<\/p>\n
Expect moderate delays near the work area.<\/p>\n
