Firefighters responded to the multi-story building shortly after noon that day and found heavy fire when they arrived.<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">Crews reported seeing three people jump from an upper floor as the flames spread through the building.<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\"><strong>PREVIOUS COVERAGE: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5ny.com\/news\/2-critically-injured-4-alarm-queens-fire\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>4 dead in Queens fire as building collapse traps firefighters<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">During the firefight, several firefighters were trapped after a staircase collapsed, but they were later extricated.<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">Firefighters were eventually able to put out the fire, but found three people, a 3-year-old girl, a 50-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman, dead inside the building. Paramedics brought a fourth person, a 63-year-old man, to the hospital, where he was also pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p> Victims identified <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"WNYW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-f1afc186=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">On Friday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the incident a homicide.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">Two of the victims have also been identified.
