Ridgmar had more than 130 stores, including Neiman Marcus and Sears.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrities at the opening were Mr. Peppermint, star of TV\u2019s \u201cPeppermint Place,\u201d and Argyle the Snake, the \u201cDon Rickles\u201d of puppets from Six Flags. Sesame Street characters and Gordon also appeared.<\/p>\n<p>We dug up a lot of great Star-Telegram photos of Ridgmar Mall from over the decades.
