JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Breezy and mostly cloudy conditions will define Sunday along the northeast Florida, southeast Georgia coast, with strong onshore winds keeping temperatures well below seasonal norms for late March.<\/p>\n

Strong onshore winds and mostly cloudy skies will likely hold high temperatures in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees for locations along and east of I-95 on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Scattered showers remain possible Sunday, particularly for coastal St. Johns and Flagler counties. Occasional gusts of 25\u201330 mph are expected at inland locations through late Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Otherwise, temperatures will hold around 70 degrees today in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia.<\/p>\n

Sunday beach, coastal hazards<\/p>\n

Beach conditions remain dangerous on Sunday. The High Rip Current Risk continues through Monday evening, and the High Surf Advisory runs through 5 a.m. Monday, with breaking waves of 8\u201310 feet expected.<\/p>\n

Inexperienced swimmers should stay out of the water entirely. Those who do venture in should swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax, float and avoid swimming against the current. If possible, swim parallel to the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.<\/p>\n
