Corey Feldman reflected on this year\u2019s Oscar\u2019s tribute to late director Rob Reiner<\/a> saying it feels \u201ca little bit like a family reunion I wasn\u2019t invited to\u201d as he responded to being snubbed from the moment. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not going to use this time to go into my feeling about that,\u201d Feldman, 54, told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> in a joint interview with Jerry O\u2019Connell and Wil Wheaton for the film\u2019s 40th anniversary. <\/p>\n

Billy Crystal led this a special segment dedicated to Rob and his wife, Michele Singer-Reiner, at the 2026 ceremony earlier this month. <\/p>\n

Feldman, who starred in the Rob Reiner-directed film \u201cStand By Me\u201d (as seen above), was left out the special moment despite his co-stars Jerry O\u2019Connell and Wil Wheaton getting an invite. AP<\/p>\n

He was joined on stage by several other notable stars who\u2019ve worked with Reiner during their career including Demi Moore and Meg Ryan as well as Feldman\u2019s \u201cStand By Me\u201d co-stars O\u2019Connell and Wheaton. <\/p>\n

\u201cInstead I just want to say that I\u2019m with the rest of us, we\u2019re all very destroyed that things went down the way they did, losing Rob when we all thought he\u2019d be joining us at some point for this tour and it\u2019s a tragedy,\u201d Feldman continued. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think Jerry and Wil did what had to be done,\u201d Feldman said, adding that his original feeling \u201cwas a fleeting moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t feel like I missed much at all,\u201d he continued. <\/p>\n

\u201cI personally was probably maybe a little bothered by the fact that nobody got to speak or do or say anything from their own heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAlthough they did a wonderful job, I would\u2019ve liked to have heard from Wil and Jerry and a few other people up there,\u201d he closed.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for comment. <\/p>\n

Their youngest son, Nick Reiner, (pictured above in a 2015 family photo featuring his parents and siblings Romy and Jake) was arrested and charged with two counts of murder for his parents\u2019 deaths. michelereiner\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were both found killed<\/a> in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14. He was 78, while she was 70. The couple\u2019s middle child, Nick Reiner was arrested for their murders the following day. <\/p>\n

Nick has been charged with two counts of murder<\/a> for the deaths of his parents. He has pleaded not guilty<\/a> to the charges. <\/p>\n

If convicted, he could be facing life in prison without parole or the death penalty.
