The Women\u2019s NCAA Tournament\u00a0is underway,\u00a0and\u00a0Phoenix has been preparing for its highly\u00a0anticipated\u00a0Final Four.<\/p>\n

A first-time host of the event, the city has poured a lot into planning the event,\u00a0using creative ways to advertise the games at Mortgage Matchup Center to be played Friday,\u00a0April\u00a03, with the national championship on\u00a0Sunday, April\u00a05.<\/p>\n

Advertisement<\/p>\n

Since\u00a0the countdown clock\u00a0at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport\u00a0was unveiled\u00a0in August 2025,\u00a0the city\u00a0has anticipated welcoming\u00a0the teams. At Terminal 4 at the airport also features Final Four decor at baggage claim.<\/p>\n

More signage was installed around the downtown Phoenix area following\u00a0Selection\u00a0Sunday on\u00a0March\u00a015.<\/p>\n

Once the teams and seeds were known,\u00a0a\u00a0multi-story March Madness bracket\u00a0was installed\u00a0on the east side of the Barrister Building,\u00a0the first multi-story bracket in Women\u2019s Final Four history.<\/p>\n

For those who want to get an up-close look at the ever-changing bracket, a 3D Coca-Cola bracket sits downtown at 3rd\u00a0Street\u00a0and Jefferson.<\/p>\n

Nearby the 3D bracket, the Phoenix Convention Center bridge\u00a0is wrapped with Final Four decor.<\/p>\n

Downtown Phoenix Inc.\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0forget\u00a0the next generation,\u00a0as\u00a0local artist Antoinette Cauley\u00a0created a mural with\u00a0four of the\u00a0state’s\u00a0top players\u00a0in a space\u00a0across from the convention center.<\/p>\n

More changes are coming once the\u00a0Final Four teams become known\u00a0on March 29 and 30.\u00a0The\u00a0city will install team-specific street\u00a0signs around downtown, and the convention center\u00a0will transform into “Tourney Town,” a four-day free event for fans from April 2-5.<\/p>\n

Phoenix is\u00a0anticipating\u00a0large crowds, and there will be plenty of opportunities to get in the game.<\/p>\n
