However it won\u2019t be widespread, which is not good news for our drought. <\/p>\n<p>Showers and storms will be possible early this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">An area of high pressure will move offshore early this week. This will bring an easterly wind to our area. With more sunshine temperatures will climb into the upper 70s on Monday and low 80s on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The rip current risk will remain HIGH on Monday due to the stronger winds along the coast. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Isolated showers and storms will be possible each day thanks to the sea breeze. Areas along and west of the St. Johns River will have the best chance of seeing a shower or storm.<\/p>\n<p>Temperature forecast over the next few days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Temperatures will climb into the 80s later in the upcoming week and we will keep the chance of an isolated shower and storm in the forecast through the upcoming weekend. <\/p>\n<p>The latest drought outlook.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Regarding the drought, the latest drought monitor reflects the overall pattern over the past few months. Most of our area remains in an extreme drought. An exceptional drought classification has been expanded to include more of our area.
