Marcus Rashford has made no secret of the fact<\/a> that he\u2019s dreaming of swapping Manchester United for Barcelona this summer but has been told he doesn\u2019t \u201cdeserve\u201d the move.<\/p>\n

Former Manchester United and England striker Teddy Sheringham has had some strong words about Rashford and does not like the way he has behaved recently.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you assess where Marcus Rashford is at as a professional footballer, you strive as a youngster to get to the very top and play for clubs like Manchester United, and when you\u2019re there, you appreciate it,\u201d he told Sky Bet.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t throw it away and say you want to leave, I find the whole episode very soul-destroying, compared to the way I was back in the day and how I strove to get the privilege to play for such a huge football club.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo hear someone talking the way he is talking, saying he wants out \u2014 I didn\u2019t like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doing that at Arsenal, I thought it was soul-destroying, and I hope Rashford doesn\u2019t get the move that he\u2019s hankering for.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom my perspective, if you go from Manchester United to Barcelona, that\u2019s a step up that he hasn\u2019t deserved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Barcelona have been tipped to sign Rashford on loan, with a purchase option, and Sherginham admits they are eager to offload a number of players this summer.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt seems quiet, but I bet there\u2019s lots going on behind the scenes at Manchester United. Other clubs know United\u2019s position,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve made it known that they\u2019re looking to sell around five players, which signals to other clubs to make them ridiculous offers.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnited want these players off the books – they\u2019ve made their bed and they\u2019ve got to lie in it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll probably take anything from a quarter to a fifth of their asking price for some of them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s still not clear yet where Rashford will end up next season.
