As a result, park officials say all residents and visitors are required to conserve and reduce water usage in homes, hotel rooms and campgrounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Conservation measures include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list | article-list\">\n<li>Reducing toilet flushing<\/li>\n<li>Running dishwashers\/washing machines only with full loads or in eco-mode<\/li>\n<li>Shortening shower times<\/li>\n<li>Turning off sinks while brushing teeth\/shaving<\/li>\n<li>Reporting\/repairing drips, leaks and other water loss<\/li>\n<li>Using only reclaimed water to wash vehicles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Repairs are underway, but there\u2019s no indication of when they could be completed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"The pipeline break is leaking adjacent to a footbridge abutment along the North Kaibab Trail...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/SQXUTBC4PVCMLP7RVIGNHUNKFE.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>The pipeline break is leaking adjacent to a footbridge abutment along the North Kaibab Trail at Grand Canyon National Park.(National Park Service)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Several breaks have been reported along the park\u2019s aging pipeline over the past few years, as work continues for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/01\/16\/grand-canyons-new-208m-transcanyon-waterline-help-with-water-reliability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/01\/16\/grand-canyons-new-208m-transcanyon-waterline-help-with-water-reliability\/\">$208 million Transcanyon Waterline Replacement Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Last year\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/09\/25\/north-rim-grand-canyon-partially-reopen-oct-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/2025\/09\/25\/north-rim-grand-canyon-partially-reopen-oct-1\/\">Dragon Bravo Fire<\/a> also damaged about 1,000 feet of the 3,300-foot water pipeline in the burn area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">See a spelling or grammatical error in our story? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azfamily.com\/page\/send-us-your-feedback\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Please click here to report it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Do you have a photo or video of a breaking news story?
