{"id":693561,"date":"2026-03-31T00:03:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T00:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/693561\/"},"modified":"2026-03-31T00:03:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T00:03:12","slug":"take-the-train-to-la-for-the-world-cup-with-this-deal-nbc-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/693561\/","title":{"rendered":"Take the train to LA for the World Cup with this deal \u2013 NBC Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Southern California soccer fans who take the train to the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in Los Angeles this June and July will score big: 20% off Pacific Surfliner fares.<\/p>\n<p>Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and the Los Angeles Tourism &amp; Convention Board announced a partnership Monday designed to help SoCal residents experience LA during this year\u2019s World Cup, and some time before and after the big event.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership includes a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificsurfliner.com\/offers\/promotions\/soccer2026\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">20% off discount<\/a> on fares aboard Pacific Surfliner to and from Los Angeles, which can be booked through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificsurfliner.com\/soccer2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pacific Surfliner website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The deal is valid for travel between May 1 and July 15; travelers can use their email to request the discount code online.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTuesday marks 100 days from the global tournament kicking off at SoFi Stadium. Keenan Willard reports for the NBC4 News at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Pacific Surfliner\u2019s route and service<\/p>\n<p>Managed by the Los Angeles \u2013 San Diego \u2013 San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency, Pacific Surfliner spans a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificsurfliner.com\/destinations\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">351-mile coastal rail route<\/a> from San Diego through Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, the train serves 29 stations, including stops in Irvine, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, Los Angeles, Glendale, downtown Burbank and Van Nuys.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Pacific Surfliner expanded its service by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacificsurfliner.com\/press-releases\/2026-01-13-amtrak-pacific-surfliner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">adding a daily roundtrip<\/a> between San Diego and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Pacific Surfliner offers 13 daily roundtrips between San Diego and LA, five daily roundtrips between San Diego and Goleta, and two full-corridor trips between San Diego and San Luis Obispo.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFan events are revealed for the 2026 World Cup in Los Angeles.
