All of which anchored, yes, by\u00a0Cole Escola&#8217;s Tony-winning,\u00a0deliriously funny <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/theater\/oh-mary-broadway-review-cole-escola\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oh, Mary!<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0at Ahmanson Theatre this fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/theater\/oh-mary-broadway-review-cole-escola\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oh, Mary! is the funniest Broadway play in years<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The breakout comedy directed by Tony winner Sam Pinkleton has been one of Broadway\u2019s most talked-about hits, reimagining Mary Todd Lincoln as a chaotic, scene-stealing antihero. It arrives in L.A. November 10 through December 6, kicking off a run of high-profile touring productions at the Ahmanson that also includes the North American premiere of <strong>Christmas Carol Goes Wrong<\/strong>\u00a0(December 12-January 10, 2027), the Joel Grey-directed\u00a0<strong>Fiddler on the Roof <\/strong>in Yiddish (February 13 to March 14, 2027) and\u00a0the\u00a0recent Broadway musical<strong>\u00a0Boop<\/strong><strong>!<\/strong>\u00a0(July 6 to August 1, 2027).<\/p>\n<p>At\u00a0the Mark Taper Forum, the season leans into a mix of new work and modern classics, beginning with the world premiere of <strong>The Turning<\/strong> (September 2 to October 11), a folk-infused thriller set at a California wellness retreat, followed by <strong>Destiny of Desire<\/strong>\u00a0(November 11 to December 20), a gleefully over-the-top telenovela-inspired comedy. Also on deck are <strong>John Proctor Is the Villain<\/strong>\u00a0(March 17 to April 25, 2027)\u00a0and a new staging of Fences (May 26 to July 3, 2027), which will complete CTG\u2019s long-running journey through Wilson\u2019s Century Cycle.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the core eight-show subscription, CTG\u2019s CTG:FWD programming adds a slate of crowd pleasers and family-friendly fare.\u00a0Look for\u00a0limited runs of\u00a0<strong>Clue<\/strong>\u00a0(September 8-12)\u00a0and <strong>The Music Man\u00a0<\/strong>(October 27 to November 8)\u00a0at the Ahmanson, plus the anniversary tour of <strong>Riverdance 30 \u2013 The New Generation\u00a0<\/strong>(April 13-18, 2027). Over at the Kirk Douglas Theatre,<strong> Dog Man: The Musical <\/strong>(September 12 to October 18)\u00a0makes a welcome comeback after a record-setting run.<\/p>\n<p>Taken together, the season reflects CTG\u2019s ongoing effort to position itself as both a pipeline and a destination, one that brings in the best of Broadway and the West End while continuing to develop new work in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Subscriptions for the eight-show \u201cOne CTG\u201d package are on sale now, with CTG:FWD titles available as add-ons.
