{"id":697342,"date":"2026-04-01T13:30:17","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T13:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/697342\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T13:30:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T13:30:17","slug":"meta-is-releasing-2-new-ray-ban-smart-glasses-for-prescription-wearers-starting-at-500","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/697342\/","title":{"rendered":"Meta is Releasing 2 New Ray-Ban Smart Glasses for Prescription Wearers, Starting at $500"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Meta and eyewear partner EssilorLuxottica announced two new \u201coptical-forward\u201d pairs of Ray-Ban Meta glasses, which are said to support nearly all prescriptions.<\/p>\n<p>Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta smart glasses can already be paired with prescription lenses, although the latest pairs of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are coming with new ergonomic features: overextension hinges, interchangeable nose-pads, and optician-adjustable temple tips, things designed to give users a more custom fit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/blyzer1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-126858\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/blyzer1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\"  \/><\/a>Ray-Ban Meta \u2018BLAYZER\u2019 model |\u00a0 Image courtesy Meta, EssilorLuxottica<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meta.com\/blog\/ray-ban-meta-styles-prescription-lenses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a blog post<\/a>, Meta announced it\u2019s offering two new frame styles: a rectangular \u2018Blayzer Optics\u2019 design available in two sizes (Standard and Large) and a more rounded \u2018Scriber Optics\u2019 frame.\u00a0Both come with a Dark Brown charging carrying case, with pricing starting at $500.<\/p>\n<p>Colors include Matte Black, Transparent Black, and Transparent Dark Olive, although Meta is also releasing seasonal colors, such as Transparent Matte Ice Grey and Transparent Stone Beige.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/scriber-ray-ban.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-126860\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/scriber-ray-ban.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1320\" height=\"708\"  \/><\/a>Ray-Ban Meta \u2018Scriber\u2019 model | Image courtesy Meta, EssilorLuxottica<\/p>\n<p>Both new Blayzer and Scriber frames will be available for pre-order in the US starting today from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meta.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Meta.com<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ray-ban.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ray-Ban.com<\/a>, as\u00a0 well as at optical retailers in the US and and select international markets starting April 14th.<\/p>\n<p>Meta also announced it\u2019s releasing new lens and color options for Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) and Oakley Meta lines. New options include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vanguard Black with Prizm Black Lenses<\/li>\n<li>Vanguard White with Prizm Rose Gold Lenses<\/li>\n<li>Vanguard Black with Prizm Transitions\u00ae Ember Lenses (arriving later this Spring)<\/li>\n<li>Vanguard Prizm Transitions Cobalt Lenses (arriving later this Spring)<\/li>\n<li>HSTN Black with Prizm Dark Golf Lenses<\/li>\n<li>HSTN Light Curry with Clear to Brown Transitions Lenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Coming this spring and summer, Meta is also releasing three new limited-time seasonal colors for Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2).<\/p>\n<p>For the Skyler style: Shiny Transparent Peach with Transitions Brown Lenses. For Headliner: Matte Transparent Peach with Transitions Grey Lenses.
