\n\tOscar and Palme d\u2019Or-winning \u201cAnatomy of a Fall\u201d director Justine Triet<\/a> has expanded the cast for her next feature and full English-language debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tMarty Supreme\u201d breakout Odessa A\u2019zion, fast-rising British star Ewan Mitchell<\/a> (\u201cHouse of the Dragon,\u201d \u201cWuthering Heights\u201d), three-time Emmy winner Cherry Jones<\/a> (\u201c24,\u201d \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u201d), established U.K. actor Benedict Wong (\u201cWeapons,\u201d \u201cDoctor Strange\u201d and Allison Janney (\u201cThe West Wing,\u201d \u201cI Tonya\u201d) have signed up to star.<\/p>\n

\n\tScheduled to shoot from April to June, the hot project was announced prior to Berlin Film Festival with Mia Goth (\u201cFrankenstein\u201d), Andrew Scott (\u201cAll of Us Strangers\u201d), Frank Dillane (\u201cUrchin\u201d) and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (\u201cCandyman\u201d). <\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to its synopsis, \u201cFonda\u201d is a \u201cpsychological thriller set in a seemingly idyllic huis clos,\u201d set to take audiences \u201con a vertiginous dive into the shifting limits of a sound mind, as grief and obsession take hold.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFonda\u201d reunites writer-director Triet with both her \u201cAnatomy of a Fall\u201d producers Marie-Ange Luciani (Les Films de Pierre) and David Thion (Les Films Pell\u00e9as), as well as sales agent MK2 Films. Delphine Tomson, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne\u2019s Belgian company Les Films du Fleuve (\u201cRosetta\u201d) are co-producing the film. U.K. partners House Productions (\u201cConclave,\u201d \u201cThe Zone of Interest\u201d) and BBC Film are also backing the film with Eva Yates joining as executive producer. <\/p>\n

\n\tMK2 Films (\u201cSentimental Value\u201d) is handling international sales and is also financing and co-producing, alongside Studiocanal\u2019s Anna Marsh, Francois Mergier and Assia Barge. Nathana\u00ebl Karmitz, Elisha Karmitz and Fionnuala Jamison are also credited as producers. Studiocanal will distribute \u201cFonda\u201d theatrically in its own territories including France, Germany, Italy, Benelux, Poland, Australia and New Zealand. IPR.VC, with which MK2 Films has a multi-year financing deal, is also a financier.
