The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"d08426cc-bf13-5d7b-5217-6d4662019bc6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/nym\/new-york-mets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York Mets<\/a> lefty didn&#8217;t get a decision in his first start, but he posted 5 1\/3 scoreless innings in his first start, fanning three with two walks while allowing six hits. Peterson opposes an offense averaging just 2.6 runs per game over the first five contests.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A high pitch count chased <strong><a data-player-guid=\"9d8e32cb-7050-32a4-87e8-262d63431708\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/42480\/taj-bradley\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Taj Bradley<\/a><\/strong> from his opener after only 4 1\/3 innings. He had yielded just one run on three hits, but nine strikeouts and especially three walks led to 92 pitches. Bradley will get the call when the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"a6e97b3f-4244-98be-79a2-f4b33f3365e6\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/min\/minnesota-twins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota Twins<\/a> visit the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"11a5df00-0945-35a5-66fe-a3a107975558\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/kc\/kansas-city-royals\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kansas City Royals<\/a>. He faces a team averaging only 2.25 runs per game, the lowest mark in the league.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hitters to stream on Thursday<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>A popular ploy in daily leagues with category (and points) scoring is streaming the hitters most likely to record a stolen base. Overall, steals are down, with four players leading the league with three through Tuesday, but none are in action on Thursday. <strong><a data-player-guid=\"4cbdb0d3-5417-6810-3475-d41ad44f229f\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/41215\/alek-thomas\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alek Thomas<\/a><\/strong> reached base in just four of his first 20 plate appearances, but the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"43e14a76-ff66-49ed-24fc-2835932f99dd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/ari\/arizona-diamondbacks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> outfielder has a pair of swipes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong><a data-player-guid=\"4e4c54e1-e108-e630-0685-a813caf38e12\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/41263\/kyle-isbel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle Isbel<\/a><\/strong> is off to a fast start for the Royals, posting a 1.100 OPS with two steals over his first three games.
