In a Facebook post,<\/a> DPS said the motorcycles were recorded at 122 mph and 118 mph in a posted 65-mph zone.<\/p>\n A traffic stop was initiated on one rider near Rio Salado Parkway, while the second rider initially left the area before returning briefly to the stop.<\/p>\n When troopers attempted to contact the second rider, the motorcycle fled, leading to a short pursuit on surface streets.<\/p>\n DPS said the rider drove erratically, including turning around multiple times and driving onto a sidewalk.<\/p>\n Troopers eventually took the motorcyclist into custody after the rider dropped the bike during the pursuit.<\/p>\n Troopers discovered the fleeing rider\u2019s motorcycle was displaying a fictitious license plate, and the other motorcycle had no license plate.<\/p>\n Both motorcycles were impounded and towed from the scene.
