The PaleyFest LA television festival begins Saturday evening at the Dolby Theatre with a question-and-answer session with members of the cast and creative team of the Apple TV post-apocalyptic science fiction series \u201cPluribus.\u201d<\/p>\n
Series star Rhea Seehorn is set to participate in the question-and-answer session along with fellow cast members Karolina Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga and Samba Schutte and executive producer Gordon Smith and co-executive producer Jenn Carroll.<\/p>\n
The question-and-answer session will be preceded by a screening of the first season\u2019s finale.<\/p>\n
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown is set to serve as moderator.<\/p>\n
The program is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cPluribus\u201d was created by Vince Gilligan, the four-time Emmy-winning creator of \u201cBreaking Bad\u201d and \u201cBetter Call Saul.\u201d<\/p>\n
Seehorn stars as curmudgeonly Albuquerque, New Mexico-based novelist Carol Sturka, one of only 13 people in the world immune to the effects of the \u201cJoining,\u201d an event in which an extraterrestrial virus transformed the rest of humanity into a peaceful and content hive mind known as the \u201cOthers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Apple TV bills \u201cPluribus\u201d as \u201ca genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n
Its title stems from the Latin phrase, \u201cE pluribus unum,\u201d meaning \u201cout of many, one\u201d which appears on all U.S. coinage and the nation\u2019s seal.<\/p>\n
