But looking back on his early days, he knows that none of that would\u2019ve been possible if it weren\u2019t for his days on campus. That\u2019s why he admitted that those days were the most important of his career. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe day I stepped foot on the UK campus, it was go time. Go time, no looking back. I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, this is it.\u2019 I mean, til this day, my best years ever when it comes to basketball \u2014 at any level,\u201d Cousins said on the \u2018Run Your Race\u2019 podcast. \u201cThat place is always gonna have a place in my heart. I mean, they helped me \u2014 it wouldn\u2019t be no Boogie without that place. It wouldn\u2019t even exist, you know what I mean?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, his bad reputation and some injury issues derailed Cousins\u2019 career<\/strong> to the point where some believe he was blackballed and pushed out of the league.<\/p>\n
