The Miami Hurricanes are building a brick wall on the offensive line for years to come, and Mario Cristobal hopes that local recruit Sean Tatum is one of the pillars on that wall. Tatum has already put together a top four of Miami, Auburn, Tennessee and Florida, but all roads seem to lead to the Hurricanes being at the top of that list.<\/p>\n

The elite lineman from Fort Pierce, Florida, also has official visits scheduled to his other top schools in the following weeks \u2014 Florida on June 5, Tennessee on June 12 and Auburn on June 19. Tatum is also looking at some other schools, with Florida State being on that list, but no additional official visits have been scheduled.<\/p>\n The Hurricanes already have a commitment from one offensive lineman, three-star tackle Zaquan Linton from West Palm Beach. It’s likely the Hurricanes will take at least four offensive linemen<\/a> in this class, maybe more. Miami recently had Matthews on campus for the weekend and is a heavy lean to the Hurricanes.\u00a0<\/p>\n Cristobal has put a major emphasis on line play since arriving in Miami and is beginning to see the fruits of his labor pay off in a big way. The Hurricanes will have linemen on both sides of the ball \u2014 defensive lineman Reuben Bain Jr. and offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa \u2014 likely picked high in the first round of the NFL Draft at the end of the month.<\/p>\n Now he’s looking at Tatum and Matthews, along with five-star freshman Jackson Cantwell, to be his next group of dominant Hurricane linemen, a group that can help Miami win the national championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
